Getting the word out about Life Sculpting
2007-12-03
The following press release has been issued announcing Life Sculpting to the press:
If you need help creating and realizing those New Year’s resolutions, a new personal development center focusing on practical goals, creativity and wellness is opening in Chandler in January.
Unlike other life coaching firms, says owner and founder Cathy Lawson, Life Sculpting will offer services that support the mind, body and spirit. Through self-exploration, she says, clients will chisel away what no longer works, allowing them to create a practical blueprint that addresses all aspects of their lives.
Having recently left the corporate world after 22 years, Lawson says, “As a former industrial engineer, I implemented and improved complex business processes. Now I will help individuals effectively and efficiently implement processes that make up their lives.”
These processes, says Lawson, will help clients overcome dissatisfaction either in their careers or personal lives, resulting in a more enjoyable, fulfilling and balanced life. Lawson, who has a doctorate in industrial engineering, says she will provide her clients with the tools and methods for making changes – the foundation for New Year’s resolutions.
Knowing that the corporate culture also can benefit from this whole-person approach, Lawson, who describes herself as a “change artist,” says her center will assist small- to mid-sized businesses, too.
“We can help foster stronger work teams for companies that care about the well-being and personal development of their employees,” says Lawson, adding that “too often corporations wear down their employees’ self-esteem.”
In addition to Lawson, the center’s staff will include: Judy Nichols-Evans, director of creative expression, a licensed counselor and registered Expressive Arts Therapist; and wellness director, Laura Weeshoff, who has a Naturopathic doctorate with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Religion from Duke University.
This mix of disciplines and experts is reflected in the center’s offerings. Classes will include “Freeing the Masterpiece Within,” “Reaching Your Health Goals” and “Outside-the-Box Creativity Classes.”
Life Sculpting opens on Jan. 12, 2008 and clients will receive 15-20 percent discounts on services through February. For a preview of classes, workshops and events, visit: www.LifeSculpting.biz
